General Likes
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood & Manga
Ships: Roy Mustang/Edward Elric
Genres: AU - Modern, Character Development, Hurt/Comfort, Darkfic, Fluff, Action/Adventure, Canon-Style Plot - Freeform, AU - Genre Shift, Established Relationship, Interpersonal Drama
+ Something post-canon would be good, and Ed and Roy in constant contact about Ed's travels. Ed regularly coming back to visit and they make the most out of it. (As a side note, I am partial to blind!Roy if you also think that might have been more realistic of an ending. I'm envisioning a scene where Ed explains where he has been and Roy asks him how he looks now, which leads to bodily description, and sex?)
+ All the usual things for these two: banter, Ed biting back at Roy, and Roy being his smartass self.
+ Maybe an AU where alchemy is involved but it turns into something sci-fi as well? There are more enemies besides the homunculus from space? Other AUs where they're fighting in a war like Ishval or they're arranged to be married because it's custom to marry someone in the military (and Ed hates that)>
+ Skip to their established relationship. Who proposed first? Or did neither one them propose a relationship and it just kind of happened? But they accept a certain day as their anniversary and acknowledge it?
+ Modern AUs would be good, too. Maybe they're both scientists or in the military?
+ During canon would be good, too. Perhaps shortly before the Promised Day comes?
Ships: Kagome/Sesshoumaru
Genres: Action/Adventure, Angst, AU - Canon Divergence, AU - Modern, Canon-Style Plot - Freeform, Character Development, Darkfic, Established Relationship, Interpersonal Drama, Mystery/Procedural, Sci-fi/fantasy, Fix-it fic, Getting Together, Fluff, Slice of Life
+ What if Sesshomaru was the one that Kagome ended up meeting and traveled with? How would that have changed her view of demons? Did they fight demons? Would they fight as much as she does with Inuyasha, or would things be colder between them? How does being a mortal factor into it? I love Rin, and I wouldn't mind her still being there and giving Kagome support, probably advice.
+ Kagome watches Sesshomaru from the distance. She notices how strong is and puts upon himself. Perhaps she even has to nurse him back to health, or any other scenarios where he's stubborn and she's even more stubborn and their stubbornness attracts.
+ A modern AU would be neat. Maybe something where Sesshomaru is a doctor, CEO, or even a dancer (because why not?) and Kagome admires his hard work. Or reverse that. Perhaps case fic? A detective AU. Kagome is a detective and Sasshomaru is the client who constantly criticizes her.
+ In what other ways do they get together? Do they find a lot in common? Are they stranded together after a Naraku attack and get closer? What about a fic several years in the future showing their domestic life?
+ I might have made this clear already, but I like that Sesshomaru and Kagome are similar but different. They're both proud and willing to stand up for themselves. On the flip side, Sesshomaru is quiet and direct and Kagome is cheerful and empathetic. I like how that compliments each other.
Ships: Hoshigaki Kisame/Uchiha Itachi
Genres: Canon-Style Plot - Freeform, Character Development, Darkfic, Fluff, Getting Together, Interpersonal Drama, Smut, Action/Adventure, AU - Modern, Angst, AU - Genre Shift, Established Relationship
+ I enjoy seeing Kisame and Itachi form a companionship over the years. They're very different even if Itachi hides that he cares more than he lets on. How much does Kisame figure out on his own about Itachi's motivations and ambitions? Does he say anything or do anything that takes his mind off of it (sex, sparring, etc.)? Is it a quiet understanding between them? How does Itachi win Kisame's trust?
+ I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of genre shift from action/adventure to a shoujo-esque, horror, or drama kind of genre. Something while they're dealing with being partners, romantically wooing each other, they end up on a mission they don't think they don't expect to survive which leads to feelings?
+ AUs are good. Neither of them die, a modern teacher/student sort of thing,
+ Trope-y stuff like haring a bed and food, arguments during missions, either one of them is injured and it takes a long time to heal the wound (or, Itachi is very sick?). Speaking of missions, they go on pretty dangerous ones.
+ What do they see in each other that makes them fall for each other? Is their first time kind of brutal, or fluffy?
Ships: Abandoned Male Spaceship AI/Male Human Pilot Who Reactivates, Disgraced King/Loyal Male Knight, Female History Professor Who Time-Travels/Her Female Historical Crush, Princess Undercover as Commoner/Female OutlawAbandoned Male Spaceship AI/Male Human Pilot Who Reactivates It
+ Where did the AI come from? Is it from the human's world from a mission a long time ago, or is it from a planet where AIs are more commonplace?
+ What type of AI is it? Does it slowly learn to talk and is a fast learner? It is badly damaged and falls for the human as he fixes it? Or it is a top-of-the-model type of AI? Perhaps the ship it was on crashed and its crew-mates all died. It also may be considered "dangerous". The human either doesn't care or agrees but finds himself oddly fascinated.
+ It would be interesting if the male human feels like they're fine being a loner, even from an AI. Or if they had an AI before but lost it a long time ago. So it's hard for him to adjust.
+ You can also go the mystery of where the AI came from.
+ The human may even be on the run, or enemies or coming. So he doesn't have time for the AI, but he has to make time. And fighting as they get to know each other would be neat.
Disgraced King/Loyal Male Knight
+ One of my DNWs is for many deaths. However, perhaps the disgraced king is from a land that has seen several defeats recently. Many of his people and warriors have died. The country and nobility are not pleased with his decisions to invade other countries and it backfires terribly. Perhaps the knight even has to help guide his king out of the country to safety?
+ The king's disgrace may come from the other marriages or romantic endeavors within the court, although he's always secretly been more into his knight. Even if the social barriers obviously prevent that. Bonus if the knight has been withholding his own struggle on his feelings.
+ A cruel and selfish king would be wonderful. A nice and sincere king also lost to misfortune and bad decisions would be great.
+ I really like when the knight is willing to do anything for the king whatsoever, even if it breaks their code of conduct or morals. As long as the king is safe, their battle with that is something I love to see. Loyalty/trust kink is something I appreciate here.
+ Watching the knight and king grow closer together would be great, too! Perhaps they've always be bitingly polite but don't personally like each other. It's just, the knight is the best there is to offer, and the king can't refuse. Watching them work through their differences and getting to the root of their dislike would be interesting.
Female History Professor Who Time-Travels/Her Female Historical Crush
+The historical figure can be anyone! A king/queen, revolutionary, thief, pirate, samurai/ninja, pioneer, president or other leading figure, musical artist, painter, rights' activist, commander, author, sports star, an underdog from country roots, mage if you want to go a fantasy route... All sorts of options.
+ Would be great if the professor didn't like history much when she was younger. But this one crush did something so stupendous that steered her on the path to history. What about if she goes on about them in class whenever she can? Does she tire her students with references until the moment she time travels back?
+ Since I'm imagining this professor is knowledgeable about the time period she goes back to, how does she fair there? Does she read about her crush in the papers and realizes where she is? Does the crush save her life when the professor causes an accidental stir?
+ This can go well or not. Is the crush the person she thought they were? Are they even a good person? Does she think they're a good person and they end up being the opposite?
+ Perhaps the professor has the option to return to the future. She doesn't.
+ Speaking of the crush, how do they react? Do they try to use the professor to whatever means they have? Did they accidentally summon her and realize it's their job to help her now? Are they patient with her, or do they want nothing to do with her?
+ I'm fond of anything, really: medieval, Victorian times, Renaissance, or any particular decade.
Princess Undercover as Commoner/Female Outlaw
+ Perhaps the princess ran away from her kingdom. She ends up meeting the outlaw in the marketplace or an inn.
+ It is possible the outlaw may recognize the princess despite keeping herself hidden. Does the outlaw try to take advantage of her at first but changes her mind?
+ What does the outlaw do? Thief or murderer? Does she plan to steal from the princess? Say, for example, the princess has one of her family's heirlooms and the outlaw sees its worth.
+ The princess goes out on the town to learn more about her people, but she she runs into a notorious outlaw without realizing it. Until she does.
I'm excited to have matched with you on any one of my fandoms, and I'm sure I'll love whatever you create for me! The prompts I've listed are starting points. Please don't feel like I'm limiting you to them. You can also mix and match any tags the way you want in my requests.
